Black Cards was formed in March 2010 by Pete Wentz. Fall Out Boy went on hiatus in late 2009, with Wentz announcing his desire to take a break from music and concentrate more on being with his wife and child. However, Wentz eventually ventured into another musical project, this time experimenting a lot more going to a more electronic dance-ska direction with the music.
